I’m sure that my next set of dance shoes shall be from Bloch. I have had only great experiences with Bloch dance shoes. The first dance shoes from Bloch that I ever owned were a pair of pointe shoes. Oh such a proud day that was for me. My Mom delivered me in the shoe store to choose my shoes on a Saturday in April. I recall it clearly. Just like it had happened just yesterday.

Once we walked in the store, i was met by the most amazing dancer I have ever seen. She have to have been a ballerina. She had long legs and strolled so gracefully. A dancer such as myself can always spot another dancer from through the room even if they are not dressed in dance costumes. There’s a specific stride and walk of self-confidence as well as power that comes along with being a ballerina.

She brought me out some pale pink pointe shoes. Size three. They suit my feet beautifully and cradled them with cushioning and support that i had not yet encountered with the twenty dollar pair of shoes which I was donning for the last several months.

Being a thirteen year old girl, not simply did they provide my feet just what they needed but they also filled me with a mental boost about the kind of ballerina I’d grow to be. I recognized i had made it! Only the best ballerinas inside our dance troupe wore Bloch dance shoes and today I was one of them.

Why terminate a good thing? I’ve a handful of sets of pointe shoes today but some of the pairs have become a little worn. Before they turn out to be totally broken down I would like to break in a fresh pair. I never desire to proceed from a well broken in pair of pointe shoes to a completely new pair.
